At Pacific University, all undergraduate students are educated in the liberal arts tradition, preparing them to “think, care, create, and pursue justice in the world.”
Business Administration majors take courses in marketing, accounting, economics, international business, statistics, finance, small business management, as well as electives in any department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Elective courses provide in-depth knowledge, hands-on experience and the opportunity to pursue career interests in one or more areas of interest.
And, in the new College of Business we provide every student with invaluable experiences that include developing and implementing a micro-business and creating and launching a small business using marketing, accounting and management skills.
Courses at Pacific University are engaging and experiential, often including group projects and oral presentations in class. Our professors are collegial, student-oriented and experienced. They bring a wealth of real-world business experience into the classroom. Our small classes provide an individualized and supportive learning environment.
After graduation, Business majors pursue careers in myriad professions or choose graduate school to further their education. Our dedicated staff of career professionals guide students through career choices, job interviewing skills and placement services. They concentrate their efforts on helping students find a career that fits their individual aspirations.
