Smoking Cessation A Pack of Options - Cont. Ed.

Jan 31, 2014, 8:00 AM
College of Health Professions

Clinicians of Western, Eastern and Complementary Medicine weave a single case study through this workshop, increasing awareness of the complexities of smoking cessation and providing more options to increase the chances of a potential quit.

Oregon ranks 26th in the U.S. for the average annual smoking-attributable mortality rate per CDC, and 16.3 percent of adults are current smokers. This interprofessional workshop will offer a pack of options, build on a single case study and include presentations by a pharmacist, tobacco treatment specialist, naturopath, dietitian, acupuncturist and optometrist.

This approach will help you develop an integrated treatment plan. Be smokin’ ready for your patients' New Year’s resolutions that are sure to light up your practice.

Continuing Education Units approved for at least 12 different medical professions and appropriate for many others. Workshop Details
