Pacific's Music Department presents the Spring Symphonic Band Concert

This very special concert by the Symphonic Band will feature five student conductors who have prepared all semester to make their conducting debut. The exciting program will include “Symphonic Overture” with Emilee Buchanan conducting, the beautiful “Lyric Essay” conducted by Hannah Lee, and Percy Grainger’s “Molly on the Shore” with Damian Plancarte on the podium.

Dr. Michael Burch-Pesses will give the students a rest when he conducts Morton Gould’s famous “Jericho,” then it’s back to the students with Donte Holloway leading the ensemble in “The Winged Stallion” and Kevin Hummel conducting Verdi’s well known “Triumphal March from Aida.” To round out the program, bassoonist Amber Patton will be featured in “The Old Sorehead,” a light and humorous contest of wills between the conductor and the soloist!

General admission is $7, Admission is free for students and $5 for faculty, children and seniors.
