A continuing Education workshop on Integrating Standard Breast Cancer Treatment with Evidenced Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine

This workshop presents a woman's perspective of breast cancer treatment, from conventional to CAM. It is about finding the evidence to support treatment options, how and what a woman may select, and discussing the pros and cons. It's about integrating and communicating different clinical approaches in cancer treatment. And it's about maintaining communication when a woman chooses an alternate path. This course falls under the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) Educational Campaign titled: Time to Talk

This workshop is appropriate for clinicians want to create individualized, integrated, interprofessional, evidence-based treatment plans for women with breast cancer.
