ABOUT THE PLAY

In this contemporary comedy, everyone Tilly meets seems to fall in love with her. Her melancholy attracts men and women alike, as the strangers in her mundane life find her particular brand of despair beautiful and inviting. Newfound depths of passion transform her lovers in unexpected ways: They lose their minds, their senses, even their bodies. This farce by Pulitzer-nominated playwright Sarah Ruhl shines a light on the absurdity of romantic love.
