The Washington County Visitors Association (WCVA) is offering cash prizes — a share of a $1,275 purse — to the top three finishers in the singles and doubles tournaments during the first-ever American Cornhole Organization (ACO) Oregon State Championships of Cornhole June 6-7, 2014. 

PRE-TOURNAMENT FESTIVAL
Friday, June 6, 4 to 9 p.m. at McMenamins Grand Lodge, 3505 Pacific Avenue, Forest Grove, OR, 97116

The pre-tournament festival will feature open courts for free, public play, optional “pay-as-you-play” challenges, food, beverage and more. This event is open to the public and admission is free.

TOURNAMENT PLAY
Saturday, June 7, begins at 8:30 a.m.

Pacific University Stoller Center Fieldhouse (2331 Main Street)

Single and doubles players will compete to win the title — and bragging rights — of Oregon Cornhole Champion and earn entry into the World Championships of Cornhole, to be played in Charleston, W.V., July 15-19, 2014. 

Participation is limited to Oregon residents only, and to the first 160 singles players and 160 doubles teams to register. Registration is $20.

Prizes

Singles:
1st place: $250
2nd place: $125
3rd place: $50

Doubles (per team):
1st place: $500
2nd place: $250
3rd place: $100
