Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)
Adelante Mujeres and Pacific's Center for Gender Equity invite you to share in this traditional Mexican festival. Come participate with local Mexican families as they honor those who have passed on to the other world.
A traditional Mexican Day of Dead dinner will be prepared by the women of Adelante Mujeres, a vocational, educational, and leadership program for Hispanic women.
Help create a community altar: Bring photos and other remembrances of your deceased love ones.
Date: Sunday, November 1, 2009
Time: Dinner 5:30 – 9:30 pm, Program 6:30
Place: Multi-purpose Room, Pacific University, Forest Grove Campus
Cost: Adults: $12 -$25 (choose your donation level)
Kids 6-12: $6 (5 & under Free)
