Alumni Remembrance Ceremony

The Office of Alumni Relations recognizes alumni who have passed away by completing a final Sign, Shake and Ring in their honor.
Tradition to incoming students, the Sign, Shake and Ring ceremony is done as an initiation into the University.
When alumni pass away, the Office of Alumni Relations inscribes their name into a book of remembrances, and in their honor we ring the bell in Old College Hall to acknowledge their passing.
We will be remembering Eva Krebs, Fred Chin '52, O.D. '53, Gerry Sherson '47, Dereck Juden '99, Tracie Vu, O.D. '96 and Lillie Holden '67 at this ceremony along with other alumni we recently lost.
Family, friends and former classmates are welcome during this informal ceremony done four times a year on the Forest Grove campus.
