Abbott Center Open House

May 2, 2012, 4:00 PM
Abbott Center

All members of the University community are invited to explore the Abbott Center and the rest of Forest Grove!

The Office of Alumni Relations welcomes all alumni back to campus for a casual afternoon gathering.

Students will be available to give campus tours since a lot may have changed since you were a student. Then after some coffee and desserts, head down Main Street in Forest Grove to enjoy the First Wednesday festivities.

Downtown Forest Grove merchants will open their doors for First Wednesday from 5 - 8 p.m. Enjoy tastings from local wineries, listen to music, take advantage of food specials from restaurants, shop stores offering bargains, peruse art galleries and check out the craft vendors!

The Abbott Center is the alumni home on campus. The building opened in 2003 and is named for alumnus Ambassador Shirley L. Abbott '52, O.D. '53 who sought to create a place for alumni to feel welcome when returning to campus.

The center features a meeting area, full kitchen and two guest rooms where alumni can stay up to three nights for free! The Office of Alumni Relations is located on the second level.

This event is free. When registering online, use the registration code "Abbott."
