One-night-only showing commemorates Japan earthquake and tsunami
Pray for Japan, a Stu Levy film, will play at the Forest Grove Theater at 7 p.m. June 28 for one night only. Tickets are available for $10 per person for this special screening. Donations to Mercy Corp and their partner in Japan Peace Winds will be accepted at the event. The minimum ticket requirements are being sponsored by Boxer Dining at Pacific University. An introduction by the host will discuss a personal visit to Sendai before and after the quake.
Film synopsis: "Real heroes faced the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami tragedy. The battle to rebuild Japan continues—and the world must not forget their story."
