Wine Tour

Sep 28, 2012, 3:00 PM
Elk Cove Vineyard and Montinore Estate

While in Forest Grove, dont miss out on the opportunity to visit some of the Pacific Northwest Wine Country.

Fill up Friday afternoon before Homecoming traditions like the Noise Parade and Bonfire by visiting local wineries on the outskirts of Forest Grove.

First stop will be at Elk Cove Vineyards in Gaston, Ore., one of Oregon's oldest and most respected wineries. They have been making wine since 1977, and have won many awards and the critics' acclaim as well. More information on their specific awards can be found at

Next stop will be at Montinore Estate. Montinore’s 230-acres reflect a thriving ecosystem delivering wine that reflects a sense of place. Their soil, elevation and climate make Montinore a great site for sensitive, cool climate varietals such as pinot noir, pinot gris, riesling and Müller-Thurgau. Read more about the winemakers and their story at

$20 per person | Advance registration required.
