Daniel J. Sharfstein, Associate Professor of Law at Vanderbilt University, is the author of The Invisible Line: Three American Families and the Secret Journey from Black to White, which won the Lukas Prize and the James Willard Hurst Prize for Sociolegal History from the Law and Society Association.
