Holocaust Survivor Al Wiener to speak at Pacific University
Alter Wiener is one of the very few Holocaust survivors still living in the Portland area. He has shared his life story with more than 600 audiences in universities, colleges, schools, churches, synagogues, prisons and book clubs in Oregon and Washington.
Mr. Wiener's autobiography From A Name to A Number was published in April 2007. His story is a testimony to the tragedy that took place during the Second World War. This is a rare opportunity to meet and speak with someone who lived through the Holocaust.
