Join the Pacific University Master of Fine Arts in Writing faculty and staff on Thursday, Dec. 6 for an evening of wine tasting and book browsing at the program's office in Portland's Pearl District (530 NW 12th Ave).
Wines provided by the Stoller Family Estate and books published by celebrated writers of the MFA program.
The Stoller Family Estate is one of Oregon’s most highly regarded vineyards and wineries.
Pacific alumnus Bill Stoller '74 purchased his family’s second-generation farm in 1993 with the vision of cultivating an enduring legacy for the land and Oregon’s wine industry.
Longtime Winemaker, Melissa Burr, works in concert with Vineyard Manager, Robert Schultz, to oversee the site’s continued refinement and steward Stoller’s legacy of growing exceptional pinot noir and chardonnay.
Pacific’s MFA in Writing program celebrates writing that has the potential to make a difference in the world.
Students of fiction, nonfiction and poetry attend brief residencies at the beginning of each semester and return home to work one-on-one with award winning authors who support and inspire emerging craft and voice.
Now accepting applications for the semester that starts in June.
