Latina Poets to Read their Poetry

Join us in congratulating the achievement of students from the CGE/Adelante Mujeres Bridge Program.


The students of the CGE Adelante Mujeres Bridge Program will share samples of their work with the community during a poetry reading from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 5 in Taylor Auditorium, Marsh Hall.

Adelante Mujeres is an organization that provides academic and skills education for low-income Latina women in the Forest Grove/Cornelius area. 

Pacific’s Center for Gender Equity has partnered with Adelante Mujeres in offering a Spanish literature class on campus under the direction of Coco Kapfer and Catie Prechtel.

Join us in congratulating students from the Adelante Mujeres Bridge Program as they read from their original works and receive a certificate of completion in recognition of their achievement. 

Free and open to the public. Refreshments served. Sponsored by the Center for Gender Equity & Pacific Spanish Program.
