FERPA Training: Professional Development

Student workers who handle confidential records as part of their job should attend this training session. Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) standards and practice will be explained by staff of the Registrars Office.
Supervisors: Please encourage your students to attend this training if they work with confidential documents and have not previously been trained. Also, please consider allowing them to add the hour-long training to their time card for paid professional development.
Students: Check with your supervisor to be sure that you can add the hour-long training to your timecard. Also, RSVP that you will attend at careerdc@pacificu.edu
