Auditions for the Fall Mainstage show begin Tuesday, Sept. 10.
Auditions for Pacific University's Fall Mainstage show, The Burial at Thebes, an adaptation of Sophocles' Antigone by Seamus Heaney, will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 from 7 to 10:30 p.m., with callbacks to take place the following day at the same time.
Director Gemma Whelan asks that those auditioning to prepare two monologues, both classical and contemporary, totaling about two minutes in length. Any Shakespeare sonnet is acceptable as a classical piece.
Before auditioning, sign up for a time on the sheet provided at the Warner Hall Call Board. Please arrive about 15-20 minutes early before your timeslot to fill out an audition form. Those with prepared acting resumes may choose to bring a copy.
