Visiting Writers Series: Lidia Yuknavitch

Author Lidia Yuknavitch will be on campus to speak about her work, including her memoir The Chronology of Water.

Lidia Yuknavitch is the author of the memoir The Chronology of Water, winner of the Oregon Book Award Reader's Choice and PNBA Award. She had published a novel, Dora: A Headcase, and three books of short fiction, including Her Other Mouths and Real to Reel. Other work has appeared in various publications including The Iowa Review, Ms., Fiction International, Exquisite Corps, and Zyzzyva.

Lidia Yuknavitch’s writing has been described by critics as “beautiful, poetic and painful.”

This event will take place on Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in Taylor Auditorium in Marsh Hall, free and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the Department of English, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the English Club. Contact Professor Kathlene Postma for more information at
