Continuing Education: Faculty and Staff Discounts

Infectious Diseases: Noro, E. coli and MRSA, Oh MY! is a interprofessional continuing education workshop for clinicians seeking to improve care of patients with infectious disease and reduce public health risks.

The CDC reports 23.6 million visits to office based physicians for infectious and parasitic diseases in 2010 and 3.2 million visits to hospital outpatient departments for the same period. Nursing home patients succumb to infections at a rate of 1.8 to 13.5 per 1,000 resident care days. The magnitude and diversity of health care-associated infections in the aging population are generating new arenas for prevention and control efforts.

Join the College of Health Professions for continuing education with perspectives from pharmacy, epidemiology and infectious disease. How will your practice change based on this workshop?

Faculty and staff are eligible for registration discounts. Check out the brochure for more details: Infectious Diseases - Noro, E. coli and MRSA, Oh My!

Email or call 503.352.2663 if you have questions or want to register.
