CANS at Pacific University

CANS (Calendar and News System) is Pacific University's system for dispensing news and information about events to members of the Pacific community and the public. It is a comprehensive system that includes media releases, calendar dates, announcements, student news and PUNN (Pacific University News Network).

Anyone with a PUNetID (network identification) and password can log into CANS and add calendar and news items; however, only authorized users can approve an item for public display.

Contact the Webteam for more information about becoming a CANS publisher.

If you have communications responsibilities you might be interested in CANS, a communications system we use at Pacific University. Our faculty, staff and students all have the ability to access and post to CANS. By using CANS you can provide information to a targeted audience, to multiple audiences and to larger groups at Pacific. By posting information to CANS your communication can reach students, alumni, faculty and staff via enews as well as webpages. CANS User Guide
