2013 Civic Engagement Course Development Mini-Grant Recipients

Faculty play a critical role in civic engagement activities on campus. In addition to supporting individual students or clubs in their civic engagement activities, faculty can also choose to integrate CE into their courses to provide new ways for students to satisfy the Arts & Sciences CE Cornerstone. CE can be integrated into courses in any discipline. Please contact us for assistance or more information, or to share a resource of your own. Additional materials to be added soon!

Civic Engagement Course Development Mini-Grant

The Civic Engagement Course Development Mini-Grant program is designed to assist faculty in creating or redesigning courses to meet the Civic Engagement Cornerstone requirement. Faculty awarded mini-grants will participate in a workshop about the pedagogical and practical strategies appropriate for their course, create a plan for implementation, and develop their course with one-on-one assistance from the Center for Civic Engagement. Download a detailed information sheet and application. The application process has closed for this year - check back next year!
