Civic Engagement Course Development Mini-Grant
The Civic Engagement Course Development Mini-Grant program is designed to assist faculty in creating or redesigning courses to meet the Civic Engagement Cornerstone requirement. Faculty awarded mini-grants will participate in a workshop about the pedagogical and practical strategies appropriate for their course, create a plan for implementation, and develop their course with one-on-one assistance from the Center for Civic Engagement. The mini-grant is for $525 in professional development funds and involves attending a workshop in January to prepare a civic engagement course for the 2013-2014 academic year. Please download the application.

* Brown bag discussions are loosely facilitated opportunities for conversation with colleagues about civic engagement topics. There is a microwave in the Scott Hall kitchen available for warming food, and we’ll have sweets for those who want them. Come when you can and stay for as long as you’d like.
