Spanish Language Resources
Though access to an interpreter may be available, all travel participants are highly encouraged to improve or refine their language skills prior to participation in international travel. It is expected that travel participants will be at a variety of levels of Spanish language ability ranging from beginning to fluent. Methods to improve or practice Spanish include: taking a Spanish course offered through Pacific College of Health Professions, Portland Community College, Portland State University or Educate Ya, hire a language tutor; attend a Spanish language chat group; form your own study group; and self-study through Spanish language texts, tapes or website sources.
