Endorsements & Certificates
Subject area endorsements may be added to current Initial or Continuing Teaching Licenses. Endorsements may be added by a combination of coursework and supervised practica, in the following subject areas:
- Art
- Business
- Cultural Competence Certificate
- Drama
- English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
- Foreign Language (French, German, Japanese, Russian, Spanish)
- General Education (for Special Educators)
- Health
- Language Arts
- Mathematics (Middle School and Advanced)
- Music
- Physical Education
- Reading
- Science (Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, and Physics)
- Social Studies
- Special Education
- Talented & Gifted Education Certificate
- Technology Learning Certificate
Candidates must submit a passing score for the PRAXIS test appropriate to the endorsement area. Candidates may not register for the practicum requirement until testing and coursework requirements are fulfilled.
