The following exam is required for admission:
- Basic Skills – take one of the following tests:

- Praxis I: Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST) www.ets.org/praxis
- Washington Educator Skills Test – Basic (WEST-B) www.west.nesinc.com
The following exams must be completed prior to student teaching:
- ORELA Protecting Student and Civil Rights in the Educational Environment www.orela.nesinc.com
- NES Special Education – ONLY for those seeking the special education endorsement
The following exam must be completed prior to program completion:
