Karren Timmermans spent 10 years teaching elementary school in the U.S. and Europe. She received her M.A. from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading. Karren Timmermans completed her PhD. in Early Childhood, Intervention Literacy at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
