Cheryl Spaulding
Associate Professor of Education; Secondary Strand Coordinator, MAT 5th Year Program (Eugene); Reading Endorsement Program Coordinator (Eugene)
Dr. Spaulding has been teaching for thirty years, first as a high school English teacher in California and later as a teacher educator at Syracuse University and the University of Connecticut. Her scholarship focuses upon issues of student motivation, especially related to reading and writing instruction. She also has supported many students and teachers in their efforts to conduct original research, ranging from action research projects to doctoral dissertations.
