Camille Wainwright
Professor of Science Education; Director of NCATE Accreditation
Dr. Wainwright is particularly interested in curriculum development, instructional strategies, educational technology, and scientific literacy. Dr. Wainwright has been the Project Director for the National Diffusion Network/US Department of Education CASTLE Teacher Training Project, a grant that offered training workshops for teachers who would like to adopt the CASTLE curriculum for teaching concepts in electricity. She is a PI of the NSF Oregon Collaborative for Excellence in the Preparation of Teachers as well as the Project Director of an Eisenhower grant to support the adoption of the Interactive Mathematics Project curriculum.
