Community

Pacific University campuses offer a wealth of resources to our communities, and our students, employees and alumni are closely connected to the businesses, organizations and neighborhoods where they live, work and learn.

Pacific University has been deeply embedded in the Forest Grove community since our founding in 1849. We've have expanded our reach to become a part of the vibrant communities of Hillsboro, Eugene and Woodburn, as well as the greater Portland area.

We welcome members of our communities to enjoy access to a wealth of resources on our campuses, from libraries to athletic facilities.

Our healthcare clinics serve the healthcare needs of residents throughout the greater Portland area.

As an educational institution, we are committed to bringing knowledge and the opportunity for growth to our neighbors. Families in the Forest Grove area enjoy the preschool and early elementary school offerings at the Early Learning Community. Professionals in healthcare, education and more find opportunities to advance their skills through our continuing education offerings. And seniors in our community are invited to audit undergraduate classes free of charge.

These positive and mutually beneficial relationships are core to the mission of Pacific University, where we strive to educate students deeply committed to the communities in which they live and learn.
