National Science Foundation

The National Science Foundation (NSF) provides funding for graduate study in science (except for applied science programs), math, engineering and a wide range of social sciences.

Programs Funded

NSF fellowships provide funding for graduate tuition as well as some travel grants for projects abroad.

Eligibility

Senior-level standing as an undergraduate or graduate students in the initial stages of a degree program. U.S. citizenship or status as a permanent resident alien is required.

  • undergraduate record
  • GRE scores
  • research project proposal
