Accommodations for Out-of-Town Guests
It isn’t too early to make travel and hotel arrangements for your guests. Limited overnight accommodations are available in Forest Grove; in addition, a number of hotels and motels in Hillsboro, Beaverton and Portland are within driving distance of the Forest Grove campus. For more information, contact the Chambers of Commerce of each city, or the Washington County Visitors Association at 503-644-5555.
Tickets are not required for the Commencement Ceremony.

Parking Lot C is the most convenient place to park. It is located on the southeast corner of campus on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street right next to the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center. All Pacific University parking lots are available on a first-come-first-served basis on the day of commencement. No parking permits are needed. Please be courteous if parking on the streets in the neighborhoods around campus.
Accessible parking spaces are located near Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center in Parking Lot C on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street. There are also side doors and a lift inside the building so you don’t have to enter through the main entrance. We are happy to accommodate your needs. All seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. Doors open one (1) hour before the ceremony starts.

After Commencement, a press release is sent to the hometown newspaper of graduating Pacific students. To ensure the correct newspaper publishes your graduation information, or to prevent the information from being published, download and fill out a Hometown Release Form, and turn it in to University Advancement on the third floor of Marsh Hall.
