Federal Pell Grants
Federal funds awarded to undergraduate students with the lowest Expected Family Contributions (EFCs). The maximum award amount is currently $5,550.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
Federal funds awarded to Federal Pell Grant recipients who demonstrate the highest need. Award amounts vary.
Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grants
Federal funds awarded to students who are planning to become “highly qualified” teachers in a federally defined high-need field in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves low-income students. Recipients must be U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens, have submitted a FAFSA, and have maintained a 3.25 or higher cumulative grade point average. Awards are $4,000 per year. Students who do not complete the required years of service will be required to repay the grant as though it had been a federal loan that began accruing interest at disbursement.
Professional Program Grants
Institutional funds awarded to students in selected graduate health professions programs. These funds are for the student’s first year only. Award amounts vary.
