Institutional Scholarships and other awards are available to students in the College of Arts & Sciences who are enrolled full-time while pursuing their first Bachelor's degree. Many institutional scholarships are renewable as long as recipients continue to meet eligibility criteria.

Academic Scholarships
Founders, Honors, Presidential, Trustee, and University Scholarships awarded to entering students based on their previous grade point averages and, for first-year students, standardized test scores. These awards are renewable and range from $22,000 to $10,500 annually.

Pacesetter Scholarships
Awarded to entering students who participate successfully in one of the on-campus Pacesetter Scholarship competitions held each spring. These awards are renewable and range from $5,000 to $2,000 annually. Full tuition scholarships are awarded to the top two participants each year.

Talent Awards
Awarded to entering students who audition successfully in Music, Forensics, Theatre or Dance in the spring and who continue to meet program participation requirements. Award amounts vary. New Studio Art Talent Award and a new Math and Computer Science Talent Award available.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships
Awarded to selected entering transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa. Recipients must have completed at least 30 semester or 45 quarter hours that are accepted by Pacific, and must have maintained a 3.5 or higher cumulative grade point average. Awards are $2,500 and are renewable.

Eva C. Krebs Boxer Spirit Awards
Awarded to continuing undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences based on their academic standing, activities and interests, and federally defined need. Students apply each spring for the following academic year. Award amounts range from $3,000 to $1,000 and are for one academic year only. Endowed and Restricted Scholarships
Donor-provided, institutionally administered funds awarded to selected students who meet specific qualifications. These awards are usually for one year only and may be awarded directly, or may fund all or a portion of institutional aid such as academic scholarships and Pacific Grants.

Tom McCall Scholarships
Awarded to selected first-year undergraduates in the College of Arts & Sciences who show an interest in, and continue to engage in, public affairs. Awards are up to $2,500 and are renewable for an additional year. Berglund Student Fellowship
Awarded to four students each year. This is a unique award for students to have an opportunity to pursue research or projects on topics related to the internet that may be of personal interest to them. The scholarship is available to Pacific University students, including incoming freshmen. The students will receive $1,250 to be applied toward tuition and fees. United Church of Christ Tuition Scholarships
Awarded to students who are dependents (as defined by Internal Revenue Service rules) of UCC clergy members. Awards are equal to half of full-time tuition.

United Church of Christ Matching Awards
Awarded to students who receive an outside UCC scholarship. Recipients who have financial need are eligible for up to $1500; recipients who do not have financial need are eligible for up to $500.
