Applicants who have been admitted to the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders as a post-baccalaureate student will be assigned an academic advisor. The academic advisor will contact admitted students to set up an advising appointment to review requirements and answer any questions that the student has. If the student is not able to come to Pacific University for the advising appointment, the advising may be done by telephone. It is recommended that the student bring their undergraduate transcripts to the advising session. (Students may bring unofficial transcripts.) At the advising session, the student and advisor will fill out the following forms:
Planned Program of Study
- The academic advisor and the student will complete a Planned Program of Study Form to map out the schedule for completing the Communication Sciences and Disorders courses. The post-baccalaureate program consists of seven courses totaling 24 semester hours. The post-baccalaureate student and the academic advisor will sign and date the form. The Planned Program of Study is also used to determine financial aid allotment per semester.
Non-Degree Seeking Student Registration Request
- Post-baccalaureate student will use this form to register for their courses. All enrolled students are subject to all Pacific University’s academic standards and regulations.
It is recommended that students maintain a copy of these forms for their records. A copy will also be kept in the student’s file in the College of Education.
