The MHA program is Pacific’s first graduate health professions program designed for working professionals.
Students enter the program in the fall semester as a cohort, moving through the program as a group and taking courses continuously for six semesters. This block design not only guarantees that all students who stay in step with their cohort graduate on time (no getting to the last semester and realizing that the one course you need isn’t offered), but it also allows students to participate in a highly-interactive classroom environment. The block curriculum design gives students the opportunity to apply new knowledge and practice new skills, so students can immediately use these in their professional work. Course content focuses on developing a strong set of management and ethics-based leadership skills for application within diverse healthcare settings.
Strong emphasis on leadership, ethics, diversity, and inter-professional education are central themes throughout the curriculum.
