Below are upcoming events that the Undergraduate Admissions Department is hosting.
High School Students
Senior Preview Days | These events provide high school seniors and their guests an opportunity to interact with the Pacific University campus and community. Throughout the day you will hear from an Admissions Counselor, meet with outstanding faculty, and tour Pacific's beautiful campus. RSVP online after dates are announced in Summer 2016.
Application Nights | At these events, seniors in high school are invited to get hands-on help with their Common Application, learn tips and tricks for writing a stellar application essay, and get free food! Admissions counselors and staff will be there to answer any questions that students might have about Pacific University or the college application process in general. Application nights will be announced in late August, 2016.
Pacesetters | High school seniors who take the Pacesetters exam and who are admitted to Pacific are guaranteed between $2,000 and $5,000 in annual Pacesetters scholarships, in addition to previously awarded merit scholarships. Further, our two highest scoring Pacesetters competitors will receive a full-tuition scholarship for all four years. Pacesetter dates will be announced in the Fall.
Admissions hosts a number of events for Transfer Students throughout the year.
Transfer Student Open House Event | Held in the fall and spring, Transfer Student Open House events at Pacific University offer prospective transfer students the opportunity to tour the Forest Grove campus and to experience the campus culture through the perspectives of current staff, faculty, and most importantly our current transfer students. Event registration is required to give us the opportunity to personalize your campus visit experience and provide academic break-out sessions that meet your needs, as a uniquely individual student.
Come find out what it is like to be a student at Pacific. Meet our staff, faculty and students so that they can share the Pacific experience with you. Learn about the transfer admissions process, the generous financial aid available to well-qualified transfer students, and meet other interested students as you further explore the opportunities available for you at Pacific.
Undergraduate Research Conference | Held in November, prospective students are invited to attend this conference to discover the research projects that Pacific students are involved in and the opportunities that are available to students.
Community College Visits | Our Transfer Coordinator visits various community colleges in Oregon to meet with prospective students. To find out if she will be coming to your community college, please contact her at email@example.com.
