Visiting Pacific

A campus visit is a great way to find out what Pacific University has to offer you! You can meet a faculty member or a coach, talk with an admissions counselor, and take a campus tour. Applying to Pacific

Pacific University uses the Common Application exclusively for undergraduate admission. Students wishing to apply for admission should submit the Common Application and the Pacific University Supplement, both of which can be accessed through Common Application.

Pacific University has rolling admissions, which means you may turn in your application at any time before the Preferred Deadline of Jan. 15. Submitting your application by the preferred deadline ensures your consideration for the upcoming term.

Oct. 15, 2015 = Application review begins
Jan. 1, 2016 = FAFSA opens
Jan. 10, 2016 = Deadline to apply to participate in Pacesetters
Jan. 15, 2016 = Preferred Application Deadline
January/February = Pacesetters
February/March = Deadlines for Pacific scholarships and awards
May 1, 2016 = Declaration Day 


Applications are accepted for both the Fall and Spring semesters, and are reviewed on a rolling admissions basis. Admissions decisions are typically made within three weeks of receipt of a completed application package.

Admitted students will receive a formal acceptance package that includes a confirmation agreement, housing information, and merit-based scholarship information.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Pacific offers students a variety of scholarship opportunities, including Merit scholarships and talent awards. Merit scholarships are automatically awarded to admitted students based upon the following criteria.

Founders Scholarship | $22,000
Recipients average a 4.0 GPA and combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1380 or ACT score of 31.

Honors Award | $19,000
Recipients average a 3.85 GPA and combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1260 or ACT score of 28.

Presidential Award | $15,000
Recipients average a 3.6 GPA and combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1140 or ACT score of 25.

Trustee Award | $11,500
Recipients average a 3.39 GPA and combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1070 or ACT score of 23.

University Award | $10,500
Recipients average a 3.09 GPA and combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1000 or ACT score of 21.

To receive consideration for need-based financial aid, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. You can apply for the FAFSA online. Send your FAFSA information to Pacific University by using our institution code 003212.
