International Students | Undergraduate Admissions

Pacific University welcomes international students to its undergraduate programs and graduate and professional programs. We offer a close, nurturing environment where students build lifelong relationships with peers and professors. With more than 65 undergraduate areas of study in the liberal arts and sciences, business, and education, you are sure to find a path that inspires you. Explore our academic programs, and learn how to apply as an international student.

International students are eligible for several scholarships, including our Merit-based and other talent scholarships. Please note that Pacific is unable to provide a financial aid package outside of the merit scholarship that students may be eligible for nor do we have full tuition coverage.  I highly recommend looking at the estimated cost of tuition before applying.  Academically qualified international students who have not satisfied English proficiency requirements may be eligible for our transition program.

Pacific University offers an English Language Institute for students who want to improve their English language skills before taking university classes in the United States. The program focuses on listening, speaking, pronunciation, reading, writing, and vocabulary in a small-group setting. It also includes field trips, community events, a conversation partner program, and access to all university facilities. A transition program is also available to undergraduate students who don’t have high enough English proficiency for full admission. Students admitted to the ESL Transition Program can take ESL classes and courses toward their degree at the same time.

Pacific also offers an International Student Services office to offer students support with academic or immigration concerns, and to organize information sessions and activities that help students transition to the United States and to Pacific.
