Project MUSE was launched in 1995 by the Johns Hopkins University Press, in collaboration with the Milton S. Eisenhower Library at Johns Hopkins University, to offer the full-text of JHUP scholarly journals via the world wide web.  Currently, Project MUSE® offers over 300 quality journal titles from some 60 scholarly publishers.

This database covers the fields of literature and criticism, history, the visual and performing arts, cultural studies, education, political science, gender studies, economics, and many others.
