Moodle Page Navigation
Overview: To familiarize new users with the Moodle format.
At the top of the page you will see the title of your course. Below, your Moodle page will be divided into three main sections:
- On the left side is the navigation block that will direct you to your profile as well as courses.
- In the center is the content of your course. When you add files such as a course syllabus or news forums it will appear here.
- On the right are other navigation tools including a search box and activity updates. If a new resource is posted, it will appear in this column.
Note that the course content is divided into subsections by the week they were created. Click on the link to access a course item in the course content section. Near the top of the screen you will see "breadcrumbs" that are useful in navigating subsections within your site.
An important block is the Settings block on the lower left column. Here, you will find tools for editing your site.
