Course Reserves
Located at the Circulation Desk, Reserve materials include books and articles reserved by faculty for their classes.
Faculty may also place media (videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs) and other course-related items (e.g. identification kits) on reserve.
The materials must be owned by the Pacific University Library, a faculty member, or an academic department.
To place material on Reserve, please submit a Reserve Request Form, also available at the Circulation Desk, along with the materials to be placed on reserve.
- Please clearly print the owner’s name in pencil or ink in several places on all personal materials.
- Please allow at least one full day for the processing of materials to be placed on Reserve.
- If there is a course for which new copied materials will frequently be placed on Reserve, consider providing the Library with a three-ring binder and adding new material as necessary, rather than creating an individual file for each new piece of material.
Alternatively, material can be placed on Electronic Reserve.
