E-Reserves

Some course materials may be placed on electronic reserve (E-Reserves).  To access course materials on E-Reserve: 

  1. On the HPC Library homepage, click on PacCat
  2. Click the “Electronic Reserves” link
  3. On the Electronic Reserves page, click on “Course Reserves” 
  4. Search for your materials by course number or professor’s name

Materials on E-Reserve are password protected.  You will need to obtain the password from your professor. 

If you have problems accessing E-Reserves, please contact the Circulation Desk at 503-352-7331 or 7332. 

Course Reserves

Some materials are physically located at the Circulation Desk of the Health Professions Campus Library, Course Reserve materials include books and articles reserved by faculty for their classes. 

To see which items are on reserver for your course:

  1. On the HPC Library homepage, click on PacCat
  2. Click on either "By Course" or "By Instructor" to search for your materials by course number or professor’s name

If you are not able to visit the HPC Library, here are your options:

 

If you need an article or book chapter from an item that is on Course Reserve, you may place a request through Interlibrary Services (ILLiad) to have an electronic copy delivered to you. 

If the book on Course Reserve is available at another library, you can also request it through Summit or WorldCat.  Please see Obtaining a Book or Obtaining a Book Chapter.
