History

 

The Archives Department is located on the second floor of the Pacific University Library. It was established in 1989 to insure proper care and managment of all records and documentary material pertaining to the growth and development of Pacific University.

 

Hours and Service Requests

 

Material in the archives can be accessed by appointment only. Appointments need to be made at least one week in advance, and two weeks is preferred. Contact the Archives for an appointment. Service request forms can be found online or at the Circulation Desk Kiosk on the first floor.

Archive Department Guidelines

     

    Archival material does not normally leave the archives.

    Photocopying and photographic reproduction will be done by archives staff, and a fee will be charged for this service.

    Only pencils can be used in the archives for research purposes.

    Writing on any archive material is stricly forbidden.

    When looking through information, do not rearrange the material.

    Food and beverages are not allowed in the Archives.
