The nationwide bed bug epidemic hit Pacific too, but the University has a “leg up” on the problem: bed bug sniffing dogs Molly and Cee Cee from Pioneer Pest Detection in Seattle, Wash. If the dogs smell the bugs, they lay their heads on the surface the bugs inhabit. With 98 percent accuracy, they let bug battlers know which residence hall rooms need further attention in the ongoing battle.
