Mark Ankeny & Will Perkins

Dr. Mark Ankeny

Mark Ankeny, dean of the University's College of Education since 2006, has been named Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Affairs. In his new role, Ankeny joins the vice presidents for academic affairs (provost), finance & administration and university advancement on the President's Cabinet. He also continues his work as dean of the College of Education.

Will Perkins, assistant vice president for student affairs, has been named Associate Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students. He began his tenure with Pacific in 2005 as the College of Optometry's director of student services, and has most recently served as interim vice president of student affairs. Prior to his appointment as assistant vice president, Perkins served as Pacific's associate dean for graduate & professional students.

Both Ankeny and Perkins succeed Eva Krebs, who served the University with distinction for 17 years as both its Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students. Krebs passed away in July following a courageous battle with cancer.

Perkins will report to Ankeny under a new organizational structure within the enrollment management and student affairs division. Hallick said the new structure will address the growing demands placed upon the division by steady increases in enrollment and new degree offerings throughout the University's four colleges.
