Since graduating from Pacific, she has served in the Peace Corps in central Africa, earned a graduate degree in health policy from the University of Chicago and spent more than 15 years in health administration. David Cook OD ’78 has published a new novel, The Anatomy of Blindness. Calling it a spiritual adventure story, Cook says the novel is about a behavioral optometrist who joins a consulting group that is, in fact, a front for an alternative religious group. The novel, he says, offers a new way of seeing the world. Cook owns Cook Vision Therapy Center in Marietta, Ga., and is a member of several national and international optometric organizations. He lectures throughout the United States, most recently at the Northwest Congress of Optometry, which met Feb. 22-23 at Pacific University. Read more in the Editor's Blog.
