Bob Bumstead, poet, fly-fisherman, avid cyclist and assistant professor of education, retired at the end of the academic year. Known for dressing up as Shakespeare to prove teaching doesn’t have to be boring, Bumstead came to Pacific to teach future teachers in Pacific’s M.A.T program in Eugene, after 33 years teaching junior high and high school English.
