  • Started and grew a successful pharmacy management company from start-up to financial stability.  Developed markets and provided service to five community hospitals.
  • Designed and implemented the $8 million Automated Refill Center for Kaiser Permanente Northwest Region.  The facility fulfills over 1.5 million prescriptions per year for direct and mail delivery.  First facility of its kind on the West Coast.
  • Budgeting and expense allocation for 21 pharmacy operations, ranging from medical office pharmacies to sub-specialty pharmacies such as oncology and immune deficiency clinics.
  • Evaluated and selected an organization-wide Materials Management Information System to include point of use replenishment through evaluated receipt settlement.
  • Authored a pharmacology textbook for nurse practitioners.

Center for Research and Quality – Responsible for the development of a center to centralize the research and grant activities of the system.  Reorganized the Internal Review Board and increased the number of clinical trials conducted by physicians within the system.  Led an initiative to standardize the collection and reporting of health quality outcomes information across the system.
