Food Not Bombs founder Keith McHenry will present Cooking for the Occupations at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 11 in McGill Auditorium on Pacific University's Forest Grove Campus.
Free and open to the public, the event is sponsored by Pacific's Environmental Studies and Politics & Government departments, Center for Civic Engagement, Students for Environmental Action (SEA), Pacific for the Dignity of Animals.
The presentation will include a video about a protest movement against austerity in Africa.
McHenry has been providing food for the impoverished for more than 30 years. His new book, Hungry for Peace, will be available for purchase at the presentation.
