GROE Internship Position Opportunity


Center for Civic Engagement is seeking two summer interns!


Position Summary:

GROE (Gardens, Relationships, Organization, Education) focuses on providing students with experience in local food production, garden management and sustainability all while addressing hunger issues in the local community. Two student interns will spend time harvesting, donating and distributing food to local charities while working closely with professionals to learn about sustainable gardening practices.

Interns should be able to work 12-15 hours a week maintaining local gardens, keep a reflective journal and prepare a final presentation regarding their experiences with the GROE program
